My passion for politics began many years ago, and serving in the United States Air Force only made this aspiration grow stronger. 

The more knowledgeable I became, the more I realized that I could make a difference. It seems that in today’s political arena you have to either be affluent or possess a famous last name to run for office; I feel this is neither a qualifier or a necessity. I have endured some of the same economic struggles that many North Carolinians are currently experiencing. As a middle class citizen, I understand the needs of the average American and it is my belief that all you need is the desire to help, the determination to achieve great things and the eagerness to strive for a better tomorrow. It seems as though the same few continue to be re-elected, is it simply because people recognize their name on a ballot or is it because they are actually doing the work of their constituents? 

I am running to give North Carolina a new direction by implementing changes to resolve problems with education, illegal immigration, the economy, tax reform, energy dependence, healthcare, and a host of other issues. We need  limited government that believes in fiscal responsibility and conservative values, not a bureaucracy. I believe with conviction that North Carolina should be a leader in issues of state as well as a beacon of hope to all of America. Please feel free to look over the issues that I feel most strongly about.
